The Atlantic Flight by Calum

The Atlantic flight

One day in Dublin a lad named Calum was getting ready for his first flight with passengers on. He looked at an old photo of him making an airfix model in his dads shed. “Ahh that reminded me of a time when I was young” he said. Calum put his pilot uniform on him he put his trousers on first then his shirt and the most important piece his wings. Calum drove to the airport. He and his co-pilot confirmed the flight path. Calum and John the co-pilot walked to the plane.

The passengers boarded the plane. They took off the nose gear lifted off the ground and then the rear gear. They then reached cruising altitude. About three hours later they were on approach to J.F.K. The landing gear was put down.

“50, 40, 30, 20, 10, brakes!!”

The pilots called the passengers gave around of applause. He then got a very special water salute. Calum turned the engine off. Everyone was proud of his first flight.
